Since the only people reading this are already blessed with my cordiality and/or with sharing the same gene pool I will keep this short.
20-10 was a year filled with long miles, trying races, and pretty medals, it was during this time I discovered my passion for running. Besides the obvious health benefits it has always been sort of therapeutic (and we all know I need that!) for me. The marathon is on my life's to-do list, and 2011 seemed like the perfect year to accomplish that task. I picked the Detroit Free Press Marathon scheduled for October 16, 2011. I signed up in May (right before the price increase because you all know I don't like to pay full price for anything) and my training started this week, 5/31/2011.

| After mini-TRI June 2010 |
Oh, and obviously because training for those and work, and marriage, and motherhood (yes, the dogs count) isn't enough we also decided to move. Seems simple enough but of course we never opt for the easy route. A quick synopsis:
5/15/2011 - list house for rent
5/16/2011 - house is rented
6/01/2011 - have to be out of house
6/01/2011 - move in with the Vic and Sher
You see, most people when they rent out their house have another house lined up. We of course do not, hence the moving in with the in-laws. We plan to build our new home but have yet to finalize all the details and officially sign off on anything. The process from start to finish takes approximately four months. FOUR MONTHS!!

Because I am incompetent when it comes to keeping in touch with those I love I thought starting this blog would be a fun, interesting way to keep everyone posted on the building and training progress.
Since being popular is of upmost importance to me you all should subscribe, or whatever it's considered in blog world, and help boost my ego. I also know next to nothing about blogging so please bare with me as I learn as I go.

I'll be trying to read along :) thanks for keeping us updated :)
